Robert Mavsar from EFI presented the concept of a European Forest Risk Facility during the Forest Europe Expert Level Meeting in Santiago de Compostela. He explained the core messages of the strategy and the business plan and emphazized that this facility will not compete with existing insititutions but complement the work of the European Forest Risk community.
