The vision and conceptual approach of a European Forest Risk Facility was presented on the International Green Week in Berlin (18.01.2015) and in Zagreb, Croatia (26.-28.01.2015). The interest in the concept of a FRISK “connect-collect-exchange” received high interest by the forestry stakeholders of Croatia, namely the forest service and the university. Originally triggered by flood damage to forests in Croatia and neighboring countries, a 2 day workshop was held to discuss further cooperation in the frame of a Forest Risk Facility.

Further, the concept was presented to the Croatian Fire Service Association.
